Michal Fila

Michal Fila has been the director of the Corporate Services Division since the fall of 2023; as of September 2025, this division has been renamed Corporate Relations and Marketing Communications. He has extensive experience in the field of media and communications. His career at Czech Television and Czech Radio has included several positions, all in news. For example, he has served as a reporter, anchor, and editor. At ČT24 in Prague, he worked as the chief editor of daily programming, and in Brno, he led the newsroom. After leaving news reporting, and before joining the senior management of Czech Television, he managed internal and external communications at Home Credit Czech Republic and Slovakia.

He received his education at two universities. He studied journalism at Palacký University in Olomouc and marketing at Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín.

As Director of the Corporate Services Division, he is responsible for a wide range of operational and strategic aspects, including the management and development of internal services, support for organizational processes, the implementation of innovative solutions, and marketing management.

From May 8 to June 30, 2025, Michal Fila was appointed to lead Czech Television as Deputy Director General.
