20. 4. 2019
She was the first to observe space lighthouses. Rotating neutron stars - the pulsars. It was one of the greatest astronomical achievements of the 20th century. Astrophysicist Jocelyn Bell Burnell. Together with her colleagues she first had to build the radiotelescope before she could start observing pulsars and take measurements. How did they do it? How could we use pulsars to navigate in space and why is her advice "always follow anomalies"?
