Tomas Lindahl, Nobel prize in chemisty laureate

Our DNA is always changing and needs constant repairs. He described one of the processes that make sure our DNA keeps working. And for this he was awarded the 2015 Nobel Prize in Chemistry - professor Tomas Lindahl. He received it for studies of DNA repair and his work has led to the development of cancer treatments that can target the disease's weak spots in DNA repair.
