Anita Sengupta, NASA and Virgin Hyperloop One scientist

10. 11. 2018

She worked for Boeing, then for NASA, now for Virgin Hyperloop One. Or in other words - she worked on ion engines, developed the parachute that slowed down Curiosity before it landed on Mars and now is trying to figure out how to transport people at 700 km/h - Anita Sengupta. She says that everything thats happened in her life was serendipity. Was it really? How many calculations and tests did it take her and her colleagues to enable Curiosity to safely slow down by more than 1 000 kilometers per hour within a few minutes? And when will we be able to ride a Hyperloop?
