Paul Rusesabagina, Tatiana Rusesabagina, Robert Fremr, Rwandan humanitarian, who saved 1268 people during the genocide, his wife, judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda

30. 1. 2016

Paul Rusesabagina saved 1,268 people by hiding them during the Rwanda genocide in the hotel that he managed. He risked his life as well as the life of his family so that others would have a chance to survive. Where does one find the strength to do something like this? And the motivation? “There was nothing heroic about this,” says Paul, who sees himself as a regular man. How did his wife Tatiana see the whole situation? We will ask her as well during her very first TV interview. Robert Fremr, the judge of the International Criminal Court for Rwanda, will discuss the legal aspect of the Rwanda conflict. This time Hyde Park Civilization will be an hour and a half long.
