Chris Blunden started work in an Editing Department in 1976, following in his father's footsteps. He worked as an Assistant Editor on such films as Richard Attenborough's WWII epic "A Bridge Too Far," "Plenty," featuring Meryl Streep in director Fred Schepsi's adaptation of the David Hare play, "Highlander," "Aliens," directed by James Cameron and "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen." Terry Gilliam's visionary comic look at the classic18th century tales.

Since becoming an editor in 1989, Chris has cut a diverse selection of films including "The NeverEnding Story II" directed by George Miller, Ian Softley's "Hackers" featuring Angelina Jolie, "Bean," Rowan Atkinson's unruly comedy that grossed over $100 million before it's US release, Kay Mellor's romantic comedy "Fanny and Elvis," supernatural thriller "The I Inside," "Perfect Creature," director Glenn Standring's action-vampire pic and "Flyboys," Tony Bill's WWI action drama about American volunteers in the French military. He is presently cutting "Bathory" with director Juraj Jakubisko.

Chris's wife, Tania, is a Post Production Supervisor and his son William is a Visual Effects Editor. When not editing or pursuing his passion for scuba diving, Chris divides his time between London and his country home in Gloucestershire.
