Production services

We provide licenses for archival footage from our News and Sports departments. Please note that licensing for other creative programs (such as films, entertainment shows, or fairy tales), as well as any requests to use news and sports footage for advertising or promotional purposes, is handled exclusively by our Telexport department.

To select the footage you need, you can visit our media research rooms free of charge. There, you can browse our digital archive and prepare a cut list of your selected segments. Please be aware that our archive also contains third-party records which Czech Television is not authorized to license.

We provide comprehensive technical and production capacities for domestic and international clients working in television, film, advertising, and news coverage. Our facilities include large shooting studios ranging from 120 to 560 square meters with full backstage support, professional music studios for recording and mixing, and fully equipped foley studios for sound effects and voiceovers.

In addition to our studio spaces, we offer state-of-the-art post-production suites featuring video editing, color correction, up to 5K film scanning, and a certified Dolby mixing hall. For on-location shoots, clients can also rent a wide range of professional equipment directly from us, including film cameras, sound recorders, and lighting gear.

We offer a wide range of complementary services for domestic and international clients in the fields of television, film, advertising, and news. We operate professional film laboratories for developing, cleaning, and duplicating 16mm and 35mm film reels. We also specialize in the production of custom video spots, which includes the creation of sponsorship or promotional messages, voiceover recording, language localization, and technical editing of audiovisual works to ensure they meet television broadcasting standards.

In addition, we provide technical support for live news broadcasts, both from our studios with a direct connection to the EBU distribution network and from the field via satellite SNG trucks or Live-U technology. We also provide comprehensive digitization services—scanning 8mm, 16mm, and 35mm film up to 5K resolution and converting recordings from a wide variety of older magnetic formats, such as VHS, Umatic, Betacam, and others.
