Bob & Bobby the rabbits live in a caravan that belonged to a famous conjurer, in an allotment garden, where they are all preparing for this year‘s “Golden Root” vegetable show. Bob and Bobby want to win, but they‘re not very good at gardening. Rabbit’s neighbour, Mr. Smarty, also wants to win and so he uses banned chemicals in his garden. He takes the empty chemical barrels into the woods where he illegally dumps them, poisoning the food of the local rabbits. The rabbits then steal food from the allotment garden. Smarty tells Bob and Bobby that their vegetables are being taken by the dreaded Carrot Eater. When the rabbits set on the trail of Carrot Eater and try to catch him, they discover the hares and use magic to help them clean up their forest
