Cut animation series about two forgotten children who take care of a snow-covered cottage, abandoned by a sick gaffer.The gaffer and Muffy live in a cottage by the woods. The gaffer was used to keeping his strength up by eating toast and garlic, but a bad year came and the garlic didn’t amount to much. The gaffer becomes ill and must go to the hospital, and Muffy must take charge of the house. It is a good thing that she’s got her bosom friend Muffles to help out in any way he can. In fact, he’s the first to notice a small green leaf poking up through the gaffer’s garlic bed. Last year’s forgotten cloves are sprouting and that means that the gaffer will soon be better and return home.
