This four-part puppet film is based on the famed English folk tale. Tom Thumb is a tiny boy created by the Fairy Queen to bring pleasure to a childless couple. Tom is a bright and lively boy and brings happiness everywhere he goes. The wicked Wizard Rabor tries to put a stop to Tom's good deeds, but Wizard Merlin protects Tom, helping him to slip through the traps Rabor sets for him. In the end Tom Thumb has his parents and their love, and will manage to look after himself in the future.
