In these twelwe parts of this documentary series devoted to classical music the viewers can observe top-ranking performers at moments of intensive work, in the process of studying the scores of particular compositions - and enriching the musical material by the added value of their talent and ambition. On the background of the birth of a masterly opus, the viewers learn about the artistic as well as human rituals followed by the brilliant artists and the motivation – not always purely musical – which has led them to select the particular composition. The series demonstrates that standing behind even a virtuoso performance is an artist „made of flesh and bone“. Each of the parts offers interesting and so far unknown data about the composers and the musicians, as well as totally new information from the world of classical music.
