Inspired by true life events, this satirical comedy focuses on an unusual love triangle as it unfolds in the highest political circles. The film´s main character, the successful politician Martina, devotes all her time to her career. She anxiously protects her private life and hides her crumbling marriage from sensation-seeking journalists. Her husband, Karel, who stays at home keeping house and raising their daughter, has long wanted to divorce her. But Martina stubbornly refuses because she knows that it would spell disaster for her political career. So Karel comes up with a diabolical plot to force his wife´s hand: he asks his longtime friend Oto, an inveterate skirt chaser, to seduce Martina. Karel plans on secretly filming his wife´s infidelity and then using the evidence against her. From that moment on these three less-than-perfect characters begin manipulating each other, getting sucked into lies and hypocrisy along the way. In the end, the situation gets completely out of control and not only are they caught out by each others manipulations but by their own shenanigans as well.
