INDIAN SUMMER

Indiánské léto

Klára is a fifteen-year-old girl who spends the summer with her cousin at their grandmother's. Time flows by slowly and vacantly in this small town, and the girls' only excitement is a weekly dance party that takes place in an empty swimming pool. Klára enters this world tabula rasa clean and fragile ready to begin exploring life. Her conflict with the surrounding world shows the sadly laughable reality we are all thrown into, the reality we try to fight against, but to which we always surrender. It is a story of familiar paradoxes: the loneliness of the crowd, the stupidity of love and hate, the humour of sadness.
