The film shows the history of painting with one’s hands – called the Haptic method, through the personality of Dino Čečo, academy artist and spiritual father to many. His method enables the sight-impaired to create works of art, and helps us sighted people to comprehend and perceive the world as they do, and the way they paint it. Important for the film is the tortuous path followed by the painter, in whose mind slumbered the feeling of something new and beneficial. Dino Čečo fought a constant battle with his vision. Gradually he won over sympathizers and followers in the Czech Republic and elsewhere. He would never have achieved it without the support of his family, the understanding and faith of his friends, art gallery managers and sponsors.
