Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
This 10-part documentary series looks at some of the most interesting monuments from the Celtic oppida to the early Baroque period. It brings together facts, legends, and historical references. It captures familiar places from unusual angles and contexts. Computer animation is used to add the finishing touches to real footage of buildings. Amazing drone and time-lapse footage puts these buildings in context with unique examples of world architecture, such as the cathedral in Reims, the famous “Gothic greenhouse” of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world in Seville, and the fabulous abbey complex in Mont Saint Michel.
