A documentary program about Czech glass artists and their work. Bohemia´s ancient glass-making traditions of took on a new significance in 1958, after the World Exhibition in Brussels and the fame of Czech glassmaking schools is still increasing. The objects created by Czech glass artists are the pride of many world galleries and private collections. Many outstanding personalities in creative Czech glass (Stanislav Libenský, Jaroslava Brychtová, Václav Cígler, René Roubíček, František Vízner, Vladimír Kopecký, Dana Zámečníková and Marian Karel) are today more famous abroad than in their own country.
