A police academy theorist and a tough, relentless chief homicide investigator are a seemingly mismatched pair of cops. By coincidence or, more likely, a clerical error, they end up on the same team. They have completely different attitudes, ways of investigating and personal ethics, which initially seem to be completely at odds. However, as time goes on, they start to make some surprising connections and even discover who committed the unsolved murders.
