Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
Musica Fresca is at present the only choral ensemble in the Czech Republic which presents songs in their original period language. The Czech, English, French, Spanish and Italian madrigals are sung by the choir at Renaissance palaces in Litomyšl and Opočno. These settings, together with period costumes and elements of classical pantomime inspired by Comedie dell’arte, create an authentic ambience for the 16th century songs.
