CRISPR – a method that scientists can use to edit DNA. Based on what they learned from bacteria. Because bacteria use a similar technique to defend themselves against viruses. For us it could be helpful in preventing diseases such as Alzheimer's, Huntington's or cystic fibrosis. How can scientists switch off or rewrite parts of our genetic information? Where are the boundaries of how far we can go and where should they be? And should we be worried that people are going to lose their humanity?
