A two-part television film inspired by real events. At the end of the 2012 summer holidays, the Czech Republic was rocked by an event of a type that neither detectives nor lawyers had ever seen. Within a few weeks, alcohol produced from a mix of ethanol and highly poisonous methanol killed at least 38 people and seriously poisoned at least 80 others. However, the concoction had the “potential” to cause 158,000 deaths.
