Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
The story taken from the family chronicle of Friedrich Kneifel, a Sudeten German whose cows graze in the traditional family meadows above the Úpa valley is a characteristic reflection of twentieth century events. The fate of this old family, long linked to the mountain farm, is actually a paraphrase to the history of the Second World War, which was not written only by “Hitler’s men”.
