A documentary portrait of the prominent personage of the world opera scene, as well as same time a very sociable, gregarious and kind man. Štefan Margita keeps on returning to the Czech Republic, even though he could have easily settled down abroad thanks to magnificent offers he´s been receiving. It is precisely his endless peregrination, and the circumstances of his demanding profession, that are the central theme of this film.
