The first Day: Opening Gala Concert and Czech Television Day
Czech Television Day which is concetrated on the children and their parents prevails the Saturday programme at the International Television Festival Golden Prague. The Prague island Žofín is full of enjoyment, singing, dancing, magic and the puppet shows from 10 am to 5 pm. The entry is free. More information about the programme you will find under the link of Czech Television Day. At 8 pm will be opened the 45th International Television Festival Golden Prague at the Great Hall of the Palace Žofín. Gala concert will be broadcast in live transmission by Czech Television. The entry is free after the registration. Please, take your seats until 19,45.
ITF Golden Prague fast approaching
In less than one month Czech Television will celebrate the festive opening of the 45th Golden Prague International Television Festival. This selection of the best music and dance programmes from around the world covering all musical genres will take place from Saturday, June14 to Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Prague’s Žofín Palace. Over 100 programmes from 27 countries have been entered in the competition. They will compete in three categories: Music on the Screen; Documentary Programmes on Music and Dance; and Musical Drama. The films will be judged by a five-member jury, which will be presided over by media specialist and producer Reiner Moritz from Germany. The opening press conference for the Golden Prague ITF will be held on June 10, 2008 starting at 11 a.m. at the Mayor’s Residence on Mariánské Square in Prague.
The deadline for personal registration has been prolonged until 31 May

Entry forms deadline
The deadline for the entry forms has been prolonged until 17. 3. 2008! Please fill out the entry forms and then check whether your entry form has been entered successfuly at Competition Programmes. Submission of the tapes by March 20, 2008 and deadline for personal registration in April 15, 2008 remains. We look forward to your programmes.
