Václav Helšus, Ofka's father
In 1970’ he was one of the stars of theater group in Liberec called Ypsilonka. He starred in plays Michelangelo Buonarroti, Ubu the Kind, Blacksmith Stelzig. He has been a longtime member of Liberec theater Divadlo F. X. Šaldy which he left only for two years in 1987 to join the National Theater. He has appeared in numerous films, TV films as well as TV series, including feature films A Girl Fit to Be Killed (1975), Panelstory (1979), Canary (1999), The Indian and the Nurse (2005), and TV series Life at the Palace (1996). His newest film Josef’s Journey (directed by Ivo Trajkov) will appear in local movie theaters soon.
