Jaroslava Pecharová – Costume design
Jaroslava Pecharová studied textile and clothing design in Brno and has worked as a costume designer at Film Studio, Barrandov and in Czech Television. She has designed costumes for many Czech films, including: "Accumulator 1" (Akumulátor 1), "The Ride" (Jízda), "The War of Colours" (Válka barev), "King Ubu" (Král Ubu), "Wild Flowers" (Kytice), "Year of the Devil" (Rok ďábla), "Rat Catcher" (Krysař) and "Bolero." Recently she designed the costumes for "Bathory."
Pecharová has cooperated with distinguished Czech photographers and participated on music videos and television advertisements. She has also worked as a stylist for singers Lucie Bílá and Iveta Bartošová. Her costume designs for "Year of the Devil" were nominated for the Best Costumes Czech Lion, and for "Wild Flowers" and "King Ubu" Pecharová she was nominated for the Best Design Achievement Czech Lions.
